The new Print Traffic feature seamlessly integrates physical exhibition copy management directly into the Eventive dashboard. The AFI team created film records, requested DCPs and virtual content from filmmakers, and tracked exhibition copy delivery status – all within the Eventive platform.This feature allows festivals to unite their technical team with box office and programmers, so everyone has access to the same information about where and when films are screening.

Eventive helped AFI leverage its brand to attract virtual moviegoers from around the country. AFI offered the best mix of independent, arthouse and documentary cinema available, with more than 240 virtual screenings between October 2020 and June 2021.AFI also programmed virtual screenings of repertory titles and issued passes to virtual film series, reflecting the rigorous cinema education the AFI Silver Theatre is famous for. And repeat customers were targeted via digital ad spaces on each screening page, recommending films viewers might also like.

AFI used Eventive’s custom seating maps to allocate seats for ADA accommodations, talent and key festival staff. Each film screening had its own custom seat map, with some sections of seats set aside for studios to distribute to VIPs, and other sections designated for open seating for regular attendees.Seat maps may also be used for screenings with reserved seats, and may even be customized for social distancing, if needed.
